Your Top Questions
- + Why choose a patch instead of gummies, liquids, or tablets?
Our transdermal patches offer a vitamin alternative, designed for steady, consistent release of ingredients through the skin—making for a convenient, once-daily application. No sugar, artificial dyes or flavors. No choking hazard. Gentle on sensitive stomachs. And easier for kids who dislike the taste or texture of vitamins.
- + What age group are your patches for?
Our Multi and Immunity patches are formulated for children ages 2-12. Only use the Sleep patch for children ages 2-4 if recommended by a pediatrician.
Always use under adult supervision and consult with your pediatrician before starting any supplement.- + Are barrière patches safe for kids?
Yes. Our patches were formulated by pediatricians using safe, child-friendly ingredients and dosing.
We also conduct third-party testing to ensure quality and safety. We recommend consulting your child’s pediatrician to determine what’s best for their individual health needs.- + Can my child wear more than one patch from different fornulas at the same time?
Yes! Children 3 and older can wear one patch from different formulas (Multi and sleep, or Immunity and Sleep). Given the overlap in ingredients of the immunity patch and multivitamin patch, it is not recommended to wear both at once unless approved by your pediatrician.
- + What happens if my child wears more than one patch from the same formula at a time?
One patch per day is recommended. Accidentally using more may increase vitamin intake beyond recommended levels. Remove extras right away and contact your pediatrician if concerned.
- + What's the best time of day to give my kids their patches?
Morning works well for most families! Apply with the daily routine (after brushing teeth, before school) and remove at bedtime. It is also safe to apply the patch at night, just before bedtime, and remove it in the morning.
- + Can kids with food allergies (like soy, dairy, and gluten) wear these patches?
Yes, our patches are free from most common allergens and formulated without any sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, peanuts, or tree nuts.
- + If a patch falls off before the day is over, should I replace it?
If the patch was worn for at least 6–8 hours, your child has likely absorbed most of the vitamins. If it falls off sooner, you may apply a new one.
- + Is the adhesive safe for kids' skin?
Yes, we chose to use medical-grade adhesive for sensitive skin. It's dermatologically tested and safe for pediatric use. They’re free from latex, parabens, and harsh chemicals. However, every child’s skin is different, so we always recommend speaking to your pediatrician first if your child has very sensitive skin or eczema. Also, avoid placing the patch on any area of skin that is prone to irritation in your child.
- + What should I do if my child’s skin reacts to a patch?
If your child feels mild itchiness, remove the patch and gently wash the area with mild soap and water. Some kids are sensitive to adhesives or heat under the patch. Try applying the next patch to a different area of skin. If the itching is intense or the skin looks irritated, skip further use until you speak with your pediatrician.
- + What if my child chews or swallows a patch?
The patches are non-toxic but not meant to be eaten. Keep patches out of reach.
If swallowed, remove any remaining patch and contact a healthcare provider or Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) right away.*
