- + Can I wear more than one patch at the same time?
Generally, yes! Patches from different formulas can be worn together when used as directed.
Some formulas do share overlapping ingredients, so we recommend checking the supplement facts panel before stacking. For example, Brains & Beauty and Energy Boost both contain Vitamin B12; Brains & Beauty, Call of Beauty, and Skin Support all contain Biotin; and Hello Sunshine and Everyday Defense both contain Vitamin D — in these cases, we suggest alternating use or reviewing your total dosage to avoid excessive intake of any single ingredient.
Note that Kids Multi and Kids Immunity should not be worn together.*
- + How do transdermal vitamin patches work?
Transdermal vitamins deliver vitamins and adaptogens directly through the skin and into the bloodstream, bypassing the gut for enhanced absorption.*
- + Where and when should I apply my patch?
Patches should be applied to clean, dry skin. Avoid placing patches on your face, head, or any areas with broken or irritated skin. Some of the best spots include wrists, upper arms, shoulder blades, collarbone, back, hips, thighs, and ankles. Our melatonin patches should be applied only when you want to sleep. Otherwise you can apply our patches at any time, day or night! For sensitive skin, rotate patch sites (arm, back, hip, shoulder, etc.) — don’t use the same spot every day.
- + What happens if I leave my patch on longer than 12 hours?
Ingredients will release from the patch over the course of 8-12 hours, but if you forget to remove it, don't stress. Nothing will happen if you remove it after the 12 hour mark.
- + Where are barrière patches made?
Our patches are made in a cGMP-compliant U.K. facility that is M.H.R.A. registered and certified to ISO 9001 standards. The M.H.R.A. is the U.K. equivalent of the FDA here in the U.S.
- + What are barrière patches made of?
Patches themselves are made from 100% recycled PET and do not contain natural rubber latex. Our patches are 3-D printed using ink. The ink is vegan, water-based ink. We do not use dye.
- + Do you offer returns?
Due to the nature of our products, all items are final sale.
We accept returns for refunds or exchanges for items damaged in transit. Upon receipt of the damaged item, please email wecare@mybarriere.com and we will send a replacement if available or issue a full refund once receiving the defective product.
